The Wayward Sons Return Home
God loves to give good gifts and little surprises to His children and such was the case when Jacko and Caleb returned home Sunday. We are thankful to all who have supported us during this time with special thanks to Pastor Gil, Pastor Ebo and Shaun Ebo.
We are asking prayer for our dear Joseph. He is such a sweetheart. His love for others and his family is commendable. But we are asking that God would relieve him of the heavy burden his family places on him. And, that God would continue to grow him in wisdom, understanding and love for God. And lastly, salvation for his family.
Update and Prayer Requests
The Lord has been so good and continues to bless. We are grateful to everybody He’s used to assist us in any way. As far as our needs go, the 3 major needs we have are as follows:
1. Property or another rental unit that’s larger and better suited for boys, girls, staff and visitors, as well as potential growth. At present we are maxed-out here with 26 people living in a 3 bedroom house.
2. Additional staff. Another “Couple” to join with us. Lee and I are going Nuts… Actually I’ve been nuts for some time but she’s starting to catch up. 🙂 Another viewpoint, (another witness to our magnificent God), more ideas and input. Iron sharpens iron.
We have several couples who have expressed interest in the future. We ask that you would join us in bathing them in your prayers as well and that God would sustain us until then.
3. A different school for the kids that’s not so Hyper “Santo Niño”, or the ability to start our own school which again, means more staff. Our kids have been penalized on their grades and have been given extra work because they won’t bow to the Santo Niño statue or participate in other strange rituals.. Plus this school system has 60 or more kids in a classroom. However with the exception of 2 of our kids all of the kids grade points have go up consecutively each making period. Praise the Lord!
